Ecoscape
Pavement for the Planet
One System - Many Solutions
Why Specify Ecoscape?
3 Step Ecoscape Process
-
Lay and smooth optional base rock (A) and small diameter washed aggregate (B)
-
Spray Ecoscape Cementitious Slurry (C) over washed aggregate to create pervious pavement (D)
-
Cover pavement with a vapor barrier (E) and allow it to cure
The Ecoscape process is a patent-pending spray-applied Permeable Concrete System that allows owners and specifiers the ability to take back control of their job-site.
By installing one of the permeable Ecoscape systems, project stakeholders can expect the achieve the following benefits:
-
Reduced Impervious Surface Area
-
Less Space Required for Stormwater Retention Systems
-
Reduces Exposure to Stormwater Fees and Taxes
-
Eases the Burden of the Permitting Process
-
Allows Owners to Increase Number of Parking Spaces
-
More Easily Achieved Impervious to Permeable Ratios
-
Increases the Amount of Income-Producing Square Footage
Using one or more Ecoscape solutions may help you achieve the following Leed Credits:
-
Sustainable Sites Credit:
-
Open Space (1 Point)
-
Rainwater Management (1-3 Points)
-
Urban Heat Island Reduction (1-2 Points)
-
Ecoscape was created with the mission to produce a climate-smart pavement. As a result, we have developed a system that is not only environmentally responsible but is aesthetically pleasing, durable, and permeable. The system, as well as installation techniques, reduces the pavement's overall carbon footprint, water use and material transportation requirements.
Ecoscape utilizes a patent-pending system that allows concrete hardscapes to be manufactured and installed on-site without batch plants and mixer trucks.
